Do you need to enlarge or narrow a belt?
Adding holes to your strap is a free service I offer.
But do you know exactly what your waist size is?
So how do you take your measurements...
When making a belt I make it to measure and I have to take the waist measurement in order to calculate as closely as possible the location of the holes.
Like a tailor (feminine form of tailor) I take out the tape measure and I know which number to stop my mark on for the strap.
Because what you don't know is that I take into account the thickness of the leather, the margin of the return, the length of the tip and the use of the belt itself.
However, when it is for a gift or you cannot go to the workshop, it is up to you to do this delicate task. So take your time because a poorly adjusted belt would be the last straw for a custom-made item.
Take a belt that most closely resembles the one you plan to buy.
Lay it flat and measure the length between:
the most used hole & the inside end of the buckle.

Can I add/remove a passerby?
You are used to having two passers-by because the models in the stores are determined by the standard sizes that range from 5cm to 5cm. They also offer five holes to facilitate the adjustment of the belt.
According to this production model it is therefore preferable to have two passers-by.
But for custom-made, there is no need because the calculation of the length of the leather strap is optimized.

How do I make an extra hole in my belt?
If you want to do it yourself you will need to use a pair of pliers or a hole punch and a mallet. Pay attention to the gap between the existing holes.
Otherwise go say hello to your shoemaker or come see me it will be free :)

How to make a belt bigger or smaller?
There are obviously several possible answers because it depends on the editing.
The best thing is to come and show me or send me photos.
Do not hesitate to check the timetables or make an appointment.
Otherwise, would you like to make your belt with me?
& if you can't be bothered, order a custom belt from me.
